What the machines will actually do
Catalog pieces are checked against these limits. A file quote uses the same numbers in the browser and again at checkout.
Bambu Lab P2S
- Advertised build volume 256×256×256 mm. Uploads over that are rejected.
- Catalog envelope 248×248×250 mm, so a brim and the front calibration lines still fit.
- Nozzle 300°C, bed 110°C, filament 1.75 mm. Peak flow 40 mm³/s on the spec sheet. Quotes use a slower quality flow.
- PLA steady-state draw used for electricity is 200 W.
xTool P3
- Work area 915×458 mm. Catalog jobs keep an 8 mm clamp margin.
- Manual height 220 mm, auto height 180 mm.
- Wood cut max 20 mm. Clear acrylic cut max 25 mm.
- Rotary roller diameter max 198 mm. Tube 80 W at 10.6 μm.
- Input power is 1700 W in the manual and 1400 W in the FAQ. Costing uses a configurable average of 1100 W, not either nameplate as a measured draw.
Refused
- Chlorine gas. Refused even though the P3 FAQ lists PVC.
- Styrene fumes. Not offered as a laser material.
- CO2 does not mark bare metal. The 5W infrared module is optional and is not part of the standard setup.
- Not on the P3 material list used by this shop, and it cuts poorly.
